Pet care experience
Hello! I grew up with cats and dogs my whole childhood. I currently live in an apartment and it is not financially feasible for me to have a pet at the moment. I thought rover would be a great way to satisfy my desire to care for a furry pet without the financial obligation. I have experience taking care of dogs and cats for friends and house sitting for them. I understand that some pets might need a little extra care or have special needs so I stick with a routine that is familiar to them. I appreciate if pet owners are open and honest about their expectations and the needs of their pets. I know pets are like family so I want to make sure they are treated with the best care.

This was Minerva’s second stay with us and our pets, and we couldn’t be more pleased!
This is the second time we’ve had Minerva stay with our kitty while we were away for a long weekend. She treats our home and our loved one with respect and keeps us updated and about how she’s doing. I’m grateful to have found a sitter we can trust and feel comfortable having stay in our home.
Minerva was awesome with our senior dogs. She was very conscientious and caring, and our very shy dog even made a new friend!

I love to know your pets typical schedule, favorite places to walk, dietary restrictions, special needs, and any restrictions. It is also important for me to know the pet owner's communication style. In the past, I have had pet owners request for a daily check in while others only want to be contacted if it is urgent.
A typical day
Liberty park is my favorite but I also don't mind walking around the block that is more familiar to the dog. If the dog has favorite toys or activities that is always good to know too.

Availability
I spend long hours working on the computer. Having a pet reminds me the importance of taking small breaks in between to be more focused and effective. Now that I have the opportunity to work from home, it is especially important for me to make time to get out of my work space. I want to note that while I do have the option to work from home, I am required to be at the office twice a week but I can adjust the days when I go to the office and the days I work remotely.
