Pet care experience
Hi! I'm excited to get to know you and your precious furry family member. I grew up surrounded by family pets and still get excited with every new dog or cat encounter. I was actively involved in the rescue community in San Antonio, TX before I relocated to Connecticut in 2017. I have been the go-to pet-sitter for friends and family for more than 15 years. I am entering UConn’s Master of Social Work program in the fall. Pet sitting helps me pay the bills while I help you have a worry free time away from your pet. I’m happy to schedule a time to meet and discuss my experience and qualifications. Both cats and dogs are welcome!

Mindy was absolutely amazing with my dog. Bre is so hyper and can be very overwhelming to many people. Mindy was able to calm her down after play time. Every time we saw Mindy again Bre was so excited as was my new pup to the family, Mercedes (who was very timid of everyone). Mindy has a way about her that animals seem to really love.

I will also make sure to understand any health issues present and talk through contingency planning to address the unexpected while you are away.

It is important to keep your dog's routines consistent when you are away. I will spend time learning about where your dog loves to go and what activities he most enjoys. I will develop an individualized plan of care best suited to you and your pet's needs!

I have full-time availability through the end of the summer. I’m available for pop-in visits, overnights, or longer term house sitting. When you book with me, your pet(s) will be my top priority!
