I have a passion for pets and wildlife alike. I have 20 plus years of my own personal animal care experience, years of wildlife rehabilitation experience and the knowledge AS WELL AS the common sense it takes to properly take care of animals. I am sane, respectful, and trustworthy. I state this as this was one of my concerns when finding a pet sitter for my babies when I first got on Rover... and this seems harder and harder to find now a days. I guarantee I will care for your babies as well as I do mine and provide the care you ask and they need. I do not mind the 5 page packet of care instructions and WILL follow them, you are the boss. I am fully capable of helping with pets that have special needs or require medical care. I currently have 4 critters of my own, two dogs and two cats. They may be a little spoiled but well behaved and love other dogs. So for any animals that comes to my house, they must be able to safely be around my animals, I am willing to accommodate but will not risk any fur baby's safety. MY BACKGROUND: I have a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Science. I am certified in Wildlife Rehabilitation: I have cared for small, large, bitty, scared, injured, you name it. I have worked in vet clinics: I have been around owners and know everyone is dfferent, I will treat you animal as you ask. I have worked in boarding areas as well and know how to handle scared, stressed, and make animals comfortable when their owners are away. I am not a fan of boarding facilities unless you introduce your pet to them at a very young age and continue to. It is stressful for your pets so I would love to help with a more comfortable situation for your fur baby. I currently work weekend shift and have plenty of availability during the week and am always willing to help on my off weekends. Please feel free to message me with any questions! Mindy is one of the few people I completely trust with my animals. She is the perfect amount of loving and direct and my dogs love her! My husky is a bit picky about people. She's friendly but really only gets excited over a handful of people and I can honestly say she loves Mindy, and also behaves for her (which is saying something)! Mindy goes above and beyond when it comes to caring for animals. I would recommend her to anyone looking for quality pet care
I’ve seen this woman jump out into oncoming traffic to rescue dogs, run through cold rain and morbidly hot temperatures all in the name of saving small fuzzy critters from harm. Mindy cares fiercely for the well-being of the four-legged creatures that find their ways into our homes and in our lives, and I know that comes from a great pool of love and compassion. Mindy is not only extremely invested in the well-being of nearly all animals; she is also extremely responsible, level headed, professional, and most importantly kind. There are few people I would trust my pets with, and luckily I have Mindy’s number.
I have used Mindy as my pet sitter on several occasions and I absolutely love and trust her with my babies! I am VERY particular about who I allow to take care of fur children especially because one of my cats has several medical conditions. Mindy is detailed oriented and very compassionate. She keeps me updated with photos and always answers my calls and texts or any concern that I have. I would highly recommend Mindy for anyone looking for someone to take care of their pets! She will treat and love them as her own!

Are the comfortable and friendly with other dogs? Are they comfortable and friendly with cats?( my cats can be isolated in bedroom if need be for a stay). Are they crate trained? Do they walk well on a leash? Do they have anxiety? Are they potty trained? DO they have food aggression? Do you need any help with training or behaviors? Do they have any behavioral issues that need to be made aware to me? ex: bark a lot when excited, urinate when excited, squirrel chasers, etc... No breed preference, I love them all! I can handle almost any critter, I am not strictly dog or cat friendly.
