Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and have owned dogs almost my entire adult life. I lost my beautiful shepherd mix, Mazey, at the end of March 2018. Amazingly, she lived 2 months shy of 17 yrs old. I now have a sweet beagle-mix named Summer. I have been pet sitting in other people's homes for over 10 years and enjoy caring for them in my home. I have experience with elderly and shy dogs and am comfortable and experienced at giving oral medicines and shots. I will walk your dog daily if he/she enjoys getting out of the house. I have a large and medium crate, so that your dog will be safe and secure when I'm not home. I am a teacher, so I'm away from home during the weekdays for 8.5 hours.

We love Mindy!! She is the absolute best sitter ever. I think we've been coming to her for over a year now and my dog loves it! She is very attentive to his needs as sometimes he can be a handful but overall she takes great care for my pets along with hers!
Mindy is wonderful! She does a great job with Reagan and is always flexible regarding our schedule. She works on some training skills and is very attentive, Reagan loved staying with her!
Mindy was thoughtful and communicative, and Hank clearly enjoyed his stay.
Mindy is a pleasure to talk to and was absolutely wonderful with our beagle! She sent updates throughout the stay and even gave her a little extra TLC. It's a great thing when you find someone who takes care of your pet just like you would! Highly recommend Mindy.

I have a fenced in yard with one friendly beagle mix. Dogs need to be crated for their safety and to prevent damage to my home.

I do not have any breed preferences. I do require that your dog be crated when I am not at home. This ensures their safety and prevents any damage to my home. All dogs need to be potty-trained and friendly with other dogs. If they don't love other dogs and prefer to have some alone time, I have plenty of baby gates to separate them if needed.
A typical day
Dogs who love to walk and are leash trained can get out for 2 walks/weekday and 2 to 3 walks on the weekend days. If a walk is not their preference, we can play ball or chase in the backyard. Enjoying lazy time on couch is always welcome.

Availability
Mon-Fri I leave home at 7:30 am and return at 3:45 pm. This means morning exercise and breakfast on weekdays would be early. I am home on weekends to spend lots of quality time with your family and pup.
