Pet care experience
I was the first child in my family to convince my parents to get a dog. I would not relent :) We landed on a Maltese that I named Ringo. I was fortunate to spend 14 great years with him. Since then I have helped two of my sisters out with their dogs and went on to do some dog sitting around the neighborhood where I lived. Throughout college I put up flyers for dog walking and ended up walking three dogs, 5 days a week. I just moved to SF and am already having dog withdrawals and would be thrilled to spend some quality time with your pup! I love dogs very much (how can you not) and can read them well, which I believe is super important when constantly working with new dogs. I have a calm and gentle approach with dogs and will always wait for the all-clear to invade their space.

We had Mina house sit for us for two weeks and we were really pleased with her service! She bonded well with our dogs and it was important for us to find someone who was calm, gentle and patient with dogs. Our girls seem to like Mina which is always a good sign. When we came back, the house was clean, dogs were walked and even the bed sheets were washed which I wasn't expecting her to do for us. The water was filled to the brim and everything seemed in order. I would have preferred if she stayed in contact more often and sent more updates with photos since we were gone for so long - I only got updates 2-3x when I asked for them and my expectation was that I would get them often, but maybe I should have been more clear on that before we left. Besides that exception, service was great! Don't hesitate to book Mina for service - she's kind, calm, courteous and very pleasant. If you expect daily or plenty of updates while you're away, just bring that up in the beginning so that you both are aware. Thanks again, Mina - and sorry for the delayed review!
Mina was great and Izzy was super tired and happy upon my return. Would definitely have her stay again!
You will know instantly once you and your pet meet Mina that you have nothing to worry about. She truly has a sixth sense with animals, they love being around her. She is responsible, respectful and mature beyond her years. I have no hesitation in recommending Mina!

What their temperament is; if there is anything I should be aware of before hand- like if they are not good with kids and so forth. I allowed my dog to sleep in my bed with me and go on all furniture but let me know your rules on this so that I don't break them.
A typical day
Depending on where you live I would take your pup to the nearest park or hike trail! If your dog gets anxiety around other dogs, we would go for a walk and have some quality one one-on-one time.
