Pet care experience
My husband and I have over fifteen years experience watching, caring and training dogs. Growing up, I had a variety of terriers and my husband grew up with three beagles. We currently have two very sweet dogs of our own, both rescues, who we have trained and socialized since puppies. My husband and I keep a very calm-routine household and are both extremely patient. We both have experience with shy dogs and those with special needs, including: separation anxiety and fear of people. We want you to feel comfortable leaving your dog and firmly believe that safety and dogs come first.

Lany had a blast over at Mimi & Charlie playing with Stella for a couple days. Their communication to me while I was traveling for work was awesome and I felt 100% comfortable with leaving Lany there. They are the best!
Mimi & Charlie were great with our golden Lola. She came back from six-night stay very jolly. Mimi & Charlie communicated in a timely manner and kept us posted with updates and photos. This was a much more reassuring experience than a previous one we had with a commercial boarding place. 100% recommend.
If I could give 10,000 stars I would. Mimi and Charlie were flexible judging I made a last minute reservation and they were able to make it work. Both Finn and TJ loved their company.

We keep eyes on our dogs 24/7. We know that sometimes “quiet” is good and other times it can mean trouble :). Dogs are allowed on the furniture and in the beds. We also have a fenced yard tucked at the back of the house, where we let our dogs run - monitored 100% of the time. Both of our dogs are non-territorial and are willing to share their toys freely. When we do go on walks, dogs are harnessed, leashed and, if it is dark, they where reflective vests. For each booking we will provide you a daily log of pictures, updates on activities, eating schedules and bathroom outings.

Please let me know what your fur-babies preferences are when it comes to other dogs, people, leash walking behaviors, likes, dislikes, etc. Leaving your dog with others can be a very nerve wracking, so please tell us all the details we need to know! No detail is too small. We want to give your dog, and you, a stress free experience and that starts by knowing everything there is to know about your dog and their preferences and personality traits.
A typical day
A typical day consists of getting up in the morning, letting dogs out around 6:00am, breakfast at 6:15 am and then lounging around for the first half of the morning. At noon, pups will go for a walk around the neighborhood and then have an afternoon snug sesh. We typically do multiple outings in the afternoon to play fetch or romp around if they’d like in the backyard, supervised by both my husband and me. We also leave the door open, so dogs can come and go as they need depending on heat. We also have lots of toys, balls, stuffies and brain games to play with. We love to do “tricks for treats” to keeps dogs’ minds active and engaged.

Availability
My husband and I both work from home and take our own dogs out at 6:00am, 12:00pm, 5:00pm, 8:00pm and 10:00pm. We also socialize with them in between meetings. Our dogs are fed at 6:30am and 5:15pm, but we will certainly work with your needs if your fur-baby needs a different schedule.
