Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Milli! I am currently attending Mills College in Oakland, but am from Davis. I'm an art history major, writer, musician, artist, thespian and animal lover. I have lived with and cared for my family's two dogs (one of whom, sadly, passed in 2009) and several fish for the past fifteen years, and have been sitting for other family members, friends and neighbors for the past four years. I love all kinds of animals, but most of my experience lies with dogs, cats and fish. I also have experience caring for older and handicapped dogs. The animals in my life are not only my family, but my best friends as well, and I can promise that by booking me, your own pets will be getting a sitter who will love them as much as you do, and you'll be getting peace of mind.

Milli has been watching our dogs for over a year now--from a few days here and there to a week for one trip. I don't worry because I know they are well cared for--loved above and beyond what I ask and every time she comes by when I'm around they go nuts with excitement. She does all the things they love, walks, playing, and hanging out on the couch. She is one of those people that just really likes dogs and they like her back. Very conscientious and caring. I hate leaving my dogs, but with Milli, I feel confident of their care and can let it go and not worry.

I'm fine with all kinds of animals. Does your pet have any dietary needs or food allergies? Does he/she require any medication or special care? Are there any places in the house pets are not allowed? (I.e. furniture, certain rooms). What is your pet's energy level like? How old is he/she? Does he/she chew on things, bite, or show any aggressive behavior? Is your pet good with other animals? Does he/she have separation anxiety? Does he/she tend to pull on leashes? (especially important regarding larger dogs)
A typical day
I'll go wherever your dog loves to go! If you have a special route or particular trail that you and your dog like to trek, just let me know! My own dog enjoys listening to music with me, so I always make sure to bring some music or one of my instruments along with me when I sit - doggy dance parties are always great! I'm always down for a good old fashioned game of fetch or tug of war with a favorite toy too.
