Need a trustworthy extra hand?

Pet care experience

I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember... which is why my parents allowed to me to have a bird, a rabbit and then finally a dog (lots of begging was required). Having moved away from my 17 year old cockapoo, to Montreal 4 years ago, I wanted to find a way to be near dogs again! That led me to Rover, where I hope and would love to help take care of yours!! I love walking, so it is sure your beloved dog will get many long walks, whether it's the quiet trail nearby with lots of exploring for their noses, or the canal for something more exciting, they are sure to come home ready for a snooze. In general, I’m an open individual who is known for her loud laugh, I enjoy the arts and traveling. I work in the tech industry as an analyst and hold a bachelors degree.

Amazing as always! My little highly anxious cockapoo was in great hands with Milena while we vacationed for 2 weeks. We got frequent and detailed updates daily, and most importantly she was so caring and attentive to our little guy. We’re so relieved we found Milena & our doggy is comfortable and happy when we need a sitter.

Milena made us feel so comfortable by providing us with frequent updates and pictures about our dog Brio. She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable by asking us lots of questions about his routine and taking the time to get to know Brio. We have never left our dog with a dog sitter before and Milena gave us great peace of mind that Brio would be well taken care of during his stay. We will be rebooking for our winter vacation and regularly whenever we need overnight care for him! Thank you Milena!

I live in a 4 story condo, that has a small balcony that we take advantage of in the summer months mostly, so your doggie can enjoy being outside if they wish to! Your dog is allowed anywhere in the house so long as that’s OK with you. Otherwise, I live with my sister and boyfriend (both are pictured in my photos), but I am of course the primary care taker, they just like benefiting from the cuddles :) I offer free bathing for boarding stays, especially in the winter when your dog may be more at risk of getting dirty and wet. If you have any other requests that you'd like to check if I can accomodate, feel free to shoot me a message. I look forward to speaking soon!

Information Milena V. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if you have any specific requests (health or other) and what I should account for in terms of your dogs general behaviour :). Details like if they have specific feedings times, how many times they go to the bathroom per day on average, etc. are always good to know too. Otherwise, I know the drill! If you have more than one dog, and are looking for them to be watched together, please let me know and we can arrange this :) Additonally, the only reason I do not watch dogs under 1 years old is if they are not potty trained. That being said, if you're dog is under 1 and potty trained, you can reach out! **Important Note: if your dog has seperation anxiety (cannot be left alone at home), please advise when making the request. As this requires extra care, it's important I know, and may decide to charge as a puppy fee.

A typical day

Depending on the length and purpose of stay, activities very. What’s sure to happen is long walks and play time with toys or other. --For a typical day of dog sitting: Short walk upon arrival, a longer walk at lunch and another short walk before pick up to ensure they go to the washroom once more :) Feeding if needed, and playing is natural. --For a typical day of dog boarding: Depending on your dogs needs, we go out as often as every 3h to let them releive themselves, and be sure to go on at least 2/3 short walks and 1/2 long walks per day (depending on if it's a work day or the weekend). Feeding, practicing tricks, and playing are all part of a natural day with your dog.

As for my schedule, I work from home full-time. Since it's remote, it allows me a lot of flexiblility to accommodate working around what you may need. On the weekends, my schedule varies like anyone :) I am home most of the time, especially when dog sitting, because I want to spend time with your dog! We have taken dogs to the park, old port, downtown and even on a boat ride on the canal for longer stays, as we always try to do something exciting! *I accept bookings up to 3 months in advance (not more).
