Pet care experience
Experienced dog sitter with a soft spot for elderly and special needs dogs. I have experience with all dogs, from puppies to seniors, but also those with special needs (blind, deaf, incontinent, etc.). I’m comfortable giving oral medication, cleaning their eyes and ears, expressing anal glands, and changing diapers if needed. I believe in being friendly but firm, clean and organized, and patient yet encouraging with your furry friend. My friends joke that I was a dog in a past life because I get along so well with them!

Mile has watched my dog Ruby a few times and is great. She is very communicative and leaves my apartment in great shape. She’s flexible with giving Ruby medication and adjusting her walks as needed.
Mile was great with Yogi. She was sensitive to his hesitation initially and worked to build his comfort level quickly. Great communication made coordinating super easy!
Mile was so great with my dog Ruby! She stayed at my apartment for 4 nights and left it spotless. It was hard to tell she was even there! But Ruby was well fed, had a great work/cuddle buddy and was well taken care of by Mile. She sent constant pictures, videos and updates and asked great questions during our meet and greet. I could tell Mile had some great experience and I felt comfortable leaving Ruby with her for the long weekend. I would book Mile again in the future if we have the chance.

Before sitting, I start with a meet and greet so your pup and I can meet and I can learn about their schedule and routine. During sittings and boardings, I send 3-4 picture/video updates (more or less if you prefer!) a day so you can see how they’re doing. While at your home, I maintain a clean and safe space by cleaning up after your furry friends and myself, keeping doors locked, using lights as needed, not letting in strangers, etc. If you’re gone for some time, I’m can also help water plants and collect mail.

Every dog is unique, so a typical day with me varies based on your pup’s schedule and personality. I’m comfortable going to the dog park, doggy day care, help with training and commands, adding play time, etc - anything to make them happy and comfortable!
