Pet care experience
I’ve dog sat/walked for neighbors while I was a teenager. I also currently volunteer at the Wake County Animal Center as a dog walker where I’ve walked dogs of all sizes. I am a sophomore Wildlife Biology major at North Carolina State University!

Mila took such great care of my kitties. They just had dental work done and she was absolutely wonderful in helping them with their needs and medications. Would highly recommend her 😻😻
Mila was fantastic. She did a terrific job caring for my dog and staying in my home. She is conscientious, kind and loves animals. I would not hesitate to use her again.
Mila took care of our doggie over a weekend and we were really happy and pleased with how she took care of our 14 year buddy. Kept us informed, sent pictures and took really good care of him. We will use her again and would definitely recommend her.
Mila was awesome! She came on SUPER short notice - within hours of messaging her, and was super responsive. She sent plenty of pictures and Sophia seemed to really enjoy their visit. Would highly recommend.

I can go on long walks with your dog. Anyway they enjoy getting their energy out I would be happy to provide. For example if that’s like playing fetch in the backyard or working on tricks and training.

Along with knowing what your dog likes and dislikes, it is beneficial to know your dogs energy level so I know how to best care for them. I am experienced in working with high energy dogs since many at the shelter are, so it is perfectly ok if your dog has extra energy!
A typical day
I mainly walk dog who live at the animal shelter so when I take them out from there Kennel I try to make sure they get as much energy out and one-on-one time as possible since they usually get that only twice a day.

Availability
This summer I will be a full time intern but will be available mornings, evenings, and weekends. During the school year I am a full time student but will be available on weekends and some mornings to walk pups. My schedule is very flexible so don’t be afraid to reach out!
