Being a gal that grew up on a 1500 acre farm on Cape Cod I was always caring for and giving love to all my animals (goats, doggies, kitties, ducks, cows, horses, sheep, birds etc.) and I wouldn’t enjoy life nearly as much without the ability to keep giving that love to other pets that I meet. I am a first responder (worked 911 for Boston). My sister and I worked as a team back home caring for our farm and additionally took in fosters and rescues from shelters. We both individually and collectively over the years helped raise at times exotic animals such as an African Grey Parrot whom was taken too young with health problems as well. We administered syringe feedings etc. to this baby bird as well as other care like thermal regulation and creating calming environment for its infancy. Also, there were other Rehabilitations of many different species as well such as self-destructive goats, sheep and donkeys. Each animal including the African Grey have lived and others continue to experience happy healthy lives. And I’m very proud to say that.
