Pet care experience
I will be available mostly full time for the rest of the summer as I am a student at The University of South Dakota. Since I was in 6th grade, I have walked and played with dogs numerous times at the Humane Society here in Sioux Falls. I have never met a dog who didn't love me! My family dog passed away a couple of years ago, but taking care of him was the best “job” I ever had. I would love to be your dog’s companion while you’re away and help ease their comfort and release some energy. I am comfortable working with any size dog and can hold my own while walking them even if they are large and/or pull while out and about. Throughout the years, I have volunteered with Miki several times. She was always prepared and well equipped to handle whatever an excited dog may bring to the table. Watching her interact with any dog is almost like watching a mother and her child.
Miki has such an incredible way with animals it’s almost like she’s Dr. Doolittle! My dog absolutely adores her, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pet!!

On walks, your dog(s) and I will visit family friendly areas, such as around McKennan Park, or if you (or your dog) prefer, we will stay in your neighborhood for a sense of familiarity. We can visit the dog park or just play tug or catch in the park, depending on your dog’s needs.
