Pet care experience

I’ve taken care of all types of dogs from when I was a teenager until now (mid 30s). Happy to take care of your dog when you're away!

Mike was really caring with our dog, Lady. We needed a last minute sitter for a long 4th of July weekend and Mike definitely came in clutch. Also, my dog really enjoyed their big backyard and all the room to play. Thanks again!

Mike has watched my corgi, Ollie, a few times now and has done a fantastic job each time. The first few times, Ollie was still a puppy and was restless in the early mornings, pacing back and forth, and had one potty accident in their apartment due to an upset stomach. Mike kept me up to the date with the situation the entire time to make sure there wasn't something concerning happening and was able to nurse him back to health over the next few days with a bland diet. As an owner, it's always stressful when your pup gets sick at a sitter's house and you aren't around to take care of them, but Mike handled the situation with ease and put my worries at bay with his empathy and professionalism. I'm glad to report there have been no accidents since and Ollie can't stop wagging his tale every time we come over for drop off. He's a super high energy dog and Mike does a great job of making sure he gets enough exercise and stimulation each day - he's completely tuckered out for the next 24 hours after I pick him up! Highly recommend Mike to watch your pup. You can tell he cares for your pet and they enjoy being in his company!

Mike was very professional and friendly!! He was super gentle with my dog and listened to my instructions to a tee. He also send me videos of my dog on walks and during meal time so I could make sure my dog was being taken care of. I felt comfortable and at ease leaving my dog with him. I would definitely let Mike take care of my dog again. 10/10 would recommend.

I have a fenced yard with a pool for your dogs to enjoy. If they do not swim, I can crate them and also let them enjoy running around my 2,300 sf home.

A typical day

Morning routine: I start the day by providing fresh water and feeding the dogs according to their specific dietary needs. I then take them outside for a bathroom break and some playtime in a secure, fenced area. Walks in the neighborhood: I take the dogs for a walk around the neighborhood, allowing them to explore new scents, sights, and sounds. This provides mental stimulation and exercise for the dogs while also allowing them to socialize with other friendly dogs and people. Interactive playtime: I engage the dogs in interactive play sessions using toys like balls, frisbees, or tug ropes. Relaxation and downtime: After an active day, I allow the dogs to have some quiet time to rest and recharge. Provide cozy beds or blankets in a comfortable area where they can relax and have some alone time. When taking dogs for walks or engaging in any activities, I always prioritize their safety by using appropriate leashes, harnesses, or other equipment as needed. Additionally, I am mindful of the weather conditions and adjust the activities accordingly to ensure the dogs are comfortable and not at risk of overheating or getting too cold. Overall, the key for me is to provide a balanced mix of physical exercise, mental stimulation, and relaxation throughout the day, catering to the individual needs and preferences of the dogs you're watching.
