I raised future guide dogs for guide dogs for the blind (out of CA) during high school in CO. Joined the Air Force when I was 17, served as a military working dog handler. After 5 years in the AF I worked in Iraq as an explosive detection dog handler. I did a short stint at petsmart as a dog trainer teaching people how to train their pets. (working directly with dogs is much easier 😊) I went back overseas to Afghanistan as an explosive detection dog handler and also oversaw transport, kennels, and sales of contract working dogs. Most recently, I spent a year in Washington DC as an explosive detection dog handler on a diplomatic contract. All that to say, I have vast experience working with dogs and understanding what they're saying. My life and those around me depending on my ability to understand their body language. Of course the stakes aren't as high caring for pets but you can rest assured I will take great care of your dog and your pet will be in great hands.
