Pet care experience
I have experience caring for a wide range of pets, including dogs and cats, several farm animals, and birds. Currently, I have a parrot but no dog or cats at home due to travel for conferences, so it's wonderful to get a furry fix with others' pets. My wife also has a rover account through which we board at our home. My weekly schedule is flexible for house-sitting with advance notice. I work as a writer and editor with periodic Zoom meetings, so I can work from any place with wifi. Monday evenings are least likely to be available for me. I will block out weeks and weekends when I will be traveling. I can meet you at your home or elsewhere to get to know your pets and their routines in advance. In general, following the schedules you set and otherwise being a friendly presence for the pet works best for me. Regarding dogs, I am comfortable taking large, strong dogs for walks.

In addition to being great with both calm and excitable pets he is also incredibly reliable and trustworthy. A typical day
I enjoy going for walks with furry friends, and can assist speed and distance for the dog's needs. For big dogs, a frequent game of tug is a lot of fun, and fetch for dogs who play fetch. Pets, scratches, and belly rubs need not be scheduled :) Often, after play, dogs have a habit of napping on top of my feet while I work. Activities would be based on dog's routine and owner's recommendations.
