Pet care experience
At home, I have 2 dogs of my own. I currently work as a K9 Officer where my work dog lives with me. I’m with him 24/7 and we work together 5 days a week. My other pup gets to stay home but we are all 3 best friends. I have also helped sit and take care of my parents dogs and multiple friends. I have a special bond with dogs and have always loved them. I know first aid techniques, can give medication and feed them if needed.
Reviews
Mike was soft spoken and worked carefully with our puppy to allow him to get to know him. He interacted well with our dog and spent a little time before and after the walks to play with him and to pet him. He made sure our pup was well hydrated during his walks. We will definitely be asking him to take care of our pup again in the future.

Mike could not have been more kind and accommodating when we needed him on short notice. Will definitely be using his services again in the future for our pup.
Mike is a fellow K9-handler and long time friend. He understands dog behavior and dog handling skills. He’s well trained with all types of breeds and dog attitudes. Mr. Prete would make a fantastic dog walker.

I am open to any and all breeds. I would just need to know if there are any issues being around other animals so I know whether to avoid areas with other dogs or not.
A typical day
I live directly next to the ma and pa trail and am conveniently located near multiple dog parks. I love to stay active so running/jogging, fetch or long walks are always an option.
