Reliable Sitter/Boarding in Saugus
Pet care experience
We are a family with 2 teenagers and a happy 2-year old Golden Retriever. We have flexible work-from-home schedules with at least 1 adult working from home each weekday. We are offering dog sitting or boarding services in our home for social dogs who are comfortable engaging and interacting with other dogs. We live near a pond with great paths for walking and exploring with the dogs, as well as access to additional nature trails within walking distance of our home. We'll work with you on a sitting/Boarding plan that meets both of your needs. We have used dog boarding services ourselves, so we understand the need for the owner to be comfortable with not only the humans that will be handling their pet, but the other animals and the environment that the pet will be in as well. We do have a Special Needs child at home and as a result, we tend to look for dogs to board that are non-aggressive, non-chewers.

Casper has the absolute best time with Mike and his family. He has everything he could want … lots of fun adventures with their golden and a great fenced in back yard. Heck, I practically feel guilty picking him up and bringing him back home :) Booking Casper’s next stay now!
My dog couldn’t wait to go back to Mike’s. He’s a big sweet energetic dog who loves to play. We totally trust Mike (and his amazing dog) to keep our dog happy and safe. We’ve only been home for about a day but he’s still sleeping off all the fun he had!
Mike is very experienced and good with dogs. This was my dog's first time being away from family. Mike did a very good job to make my dog comfortable. Our family could enjoy the vacation knowing our dog was under good care. Mike also send pictures and updates about my dog daily. Mike's dog Parker is very social, he was a good company of my dog.

We have a fenced-in back yard with space for the dogs to play. In home, we can accommodate a crate if that is what the dog is accustomed to. We allow for pets to roam the house and lounge on our furniture. We play with the dogs throughout the day. Your dogs are treated just like ours.

The dogs will have access to a human at all times. We have a fenced-in back yard and love to take walks around Pranker's Pond (there are plenty of trails to explore). We also enjoy trekking through the Saugus Iron Works and exploring downtown Saugus. Our Golden Retriever will keep your dog active with playtime throughout the day!

Availability
As adults with very flexible work-from-home schedules we are constantly in and around the dogs. If the weather is nice, the back door is open for easy access to the fenced-in back yard. We also have a porch that overlooks the street for the more social pets.
