Have you ever had your vacation or business travel plans derailed by a last minute sitter cancellation? This is #1 reason for pet owners dissatisfaction and frustration with sitter services. Have you ever had a housesitter who shows up for the night, and then gone through the day, where your pet is alone for an extended period of time each day? And if this happens for 5-10 days while you are away? Life happens to all of us, including the sitters, who may have to cancel services due to personal emergencies, or have to attend to work/life chores during the sits. This doesn't happen to us for a simple reason. When you book with us, you booking is secured by 4 sitters, not one. We are a family couple with 2 teenage 19 and 16 yrs old kids. We take shifts, and ensure that no matter what happens, one of 4 is always available to watch your pets. We provide full time care to your dogs, cats, and other pets, in your residence. We are reliable, non-smoking, experienced, animal-loving pet owners ourselves. We have 2 dog family members: Amstaff (3) and Manchester Terrier (8).

If you want to leave your house and know that your fur child is taken care of with the same love, care, compassion, zeal, and trust, you go with Mike & Maria! You will not find anyone else who can do as good of a job as they can, who you can trust, and make you feel comfortable. As long as Mike & Maria are available, I will NEVER use a different sitter.
Hands down the best there is! I trust my fur children with Mike and Maria and there family completely and can’t say anything but amazing things about them and the care and attention they give.
When our original sitter cancelled last minute, we contacted Mike & Maria. They responded quickly & set up a meet & greet w/in 24 hours. Mike came over & stayed until Tank was comfortable. Tank is always very anxious when we leave, but he bonded with Mike instantly. Mike, Maria & their son Daniel sent photos & stayed in touch with us regularly. Our trip was successful knowing Tank was well taken care of. We will definitely be using this family again!
Highly recommend Mike and Maria! I reached out to them on short notice, and Mike prioritized a pet assessment right away. He brought treats and the idea of meeting the dogs outside first. My dogs are tricky, and Mike and Maria and their son were patient with them and updated me regularly. If your dog falls into restrictive breed category, we will discuss and agree on the scope of exposure to outside environment, such as walks. We do not take dogs to any dog parks, for safety reasons. We never take dogs off leash outside the house. We are responsible dog owners.

We would like to know how your pets react to environmental triggers (other pets, pedestrians, bikes, loud noises like fireworks, thunder, etc), and any effective tips on how to keep them safe and stress-free.
A typical day
Our personal dogs have little restrictions in our house. However, based on customer practices, we will follow whichever regiment and guidelines are necessary with your dogs and cats. House Sitting is a 24 hour period of care for your animals in your home. That includes all of your pet's basic needs within that time frame: food, water, 30min walks, pets and love.

Availability
Maria is a Healthcare professional, and Mike is work from home analyst. Between the two of us we will provide maximum house sitting coverage. Your pets wont stay home alone for more than 4 out of 24 hours. Our teenage son Daniel sometime helps as well. Unlike most house sitters who cover nights plus 1 or 2 short visits during the day, we provide full day coverage. Your pets are not going to stress-out, waiting for extended hours for someone to show up.
