Pet care experience
I love dogs of all sizes and breeds. I especially love large, energetic dogs, but I'm a tireless fetch, frisbee, tug of war, etc companion to all canines. I will walk, feed, play with and be great company for your special buddy in their own home! I do weekends only. I'm retired, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I like the fact that my furry clients get to stay in the comfort of their own homes while you are away—that is so much better than boarding them with strangers in a unfamiliar environment. I'm prompt, reliable and trustworthy and will follow your care instructions to the letter. Medications and/or special needs are fine.5 star rating and impeccable references. This is a late review, but Mike watched my house and my big dogs while out of town. He took good care of my plants and my doggies were happy when I returned.
Mike is great with my dogs and handles their special diet, medications and extra potty break needs. I get pic updates of big smiling pitties. He even washed the bedding before he left! House is always clean when I get home & dogs are happy.
Mike is wonderful with my dog. From the very start he was extremely affectionate and interacted enthusiastically with Robey, so Robey trusted him and felt comfortable right away. Mike is always on time, extremely responsible, and updated me on how everything was going while I was away! I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter!
Mike did a great job watching our dog and cat while we were away on holiday! I would definitely use him again, and I think our furry friends agree!

I need to know if they're rescues or have any special needs. Rescues can be very unpredictable in temperament, training and behavior. I’ve only met one dog who was actually afraid of me. Any medicines, allergies, special diets, behavioral issues, etc.
A typical day
I can take your dogs to the park, the dog park, around the block—wherever you wish. Games of fetch etc. always welcome! A lot of my dogs have loved chasing sticks, balls and frisbees.

Availability
I’m retired so my daily and weekly routine is very flexible. I just moved from the Asheville area and left my fury friends of 4 years and would love to meet some new furry friends in the Clayton area. I am primarily interested in overnights on weekends.
