Pet care experience
Growing up, my dad was a Veterinarian so I helped care for animals of all kinds, large and small. We always had dogs and cats running around and as I got older, I had various dogs, including ones that were disabled, elderly, and had special needs. They all deserve love and care, as they are special members of your family. I also have 3 newfoundlands, so I'm well versed in multi-per households.

I have 2 cats and a pitbull with unpredictable behavior, and I was struggling to find someone that was good with both cats and dogs and comfortable with a “special needs” bully while I was out of town. I was referred to Mike by a friend and after we did our initial meet and greet, I immediately knew my pets would be in good hands when I was away. Mike is SO loving with the animals and is also a natural alpha. My dog, who typically needs a lot of time to get comfortable with someone new, was instantly attracted to Mike and quickly followed his commands. He is a true dog whisperer! I highly recommend him!
I have not used Michael’s services as we no longer have any pets. But I know that when he had his own pets he was very loving and very dedicated to their care and well being. He is a responsible adult who misses his dogs very much. They were part of his family. I am sure he will take wonderful care of your dogs and will make sure they know they are loved.
Mike grew up on a hobby farm and has continued to own, love, and care for animals throughout his entire life! He is a trustworthy and responsible guy who will make sure your animals get the care and attention they need. Plus, he loves to be active so your animals will be sure to get exercise and lots of play time!

A typical day
I like to find out what kinds of activities the dog enjoys, and to engage in those so they're comfortable and having a typical daily routine. If they're good on leash or in a dog park, we can always go visit and explore! I can also work to continue training you've started so we can keep entraining those behavior patterns. I also enjoy hanging out and lounging with pets so they can be relaxed and stress-free.

Availability
I work part time current, roughly 7-2 Monday thru Thursday. I also have some availability mid morning depending on distance from St Paul. Weekends (Fri-Sun) I am generally free!
