Pet care experience
Since I could first form memories I have always had at least one dog in my life. I grew up with 3 dogs in my house at all times, with various breeds including golden retrievers, labs, hounds, muts and my current dog, a shy whippet mix named Bronny. I am one of those people that dogs walk up to and instantly love, I don't know if its an inherited trait or what but its a quality I wouldn't give up for the world. I can't wait to meet and care for your pups!

Mike has had a dog in his life from the moment I met him. He grew up in a family with multiple dogs, so I've seen him as a loving and responsible dog caregiver for as long as I can remember. Growing up, he would be our go to person to watch our family dog whenever we needed the assistance. He currently has a dog he rescued from tough circumstances. In a short period of time, I've seen this dog change from a dog that was scared of everyone and everything, to a dog that's full of life and love. I could not recommend someone any more than I can recommend Mike to care for any dog!
Mike has been around dogs his whole life and you can tell by the way he cares and loves each dog he comes into contact with! He is very patient and willing to go the extra mile to make the doggos happy and well exercised! He’d be a great addition to help out your family!

I have extensive experience both raising dogs and also pet sitting overnight/drop-ins so I can recognize all of the safety measures that need to be in place to make sure your pet is safe. If a doggy daycare session is scheduled at my place, I have a two bedroom apartment that is both spacious and surrounded by walking trails that Bronny and I love to enjoy.

A typical day
I have a whippet mix who does not get tired unless we go 5+ miles or find dog friends for him to play with. We have a ton of walking trails and parks to go to in my neighborhood that we use every day. Nothing is better than tiring him out so much that he passes out and naps so hard when he gets home!

Availability
I am currently a full-time nursing student, in the Fall of 2021 my schedule is pretty open but sporadic/not open enough to find full/part time employment. I have a dog of my own (that is incredibly friendly and loves other dogs) and I spend a lot of my time getting him exercise and making sure he's happy, thats why I think Rover is the perfect fit for me right now.
