A lifetime of loving dogs, and all animals. I’ve been happy to have dogs and cats as family. And while I currently do not, I enjoy visiting with my friends and neighbors pets Rottweilers and boxers are my favorite dogs. I did temporarily home a shitzu puppy whom I house trained and ended up absolutely loving. I’ve had several cats in my lifetime and my close friends grumpy cat seems to like me so I guess that’s a good thing. I’ve also had snakes, iguanas, ferrets, a tarantula, and a cockatiel. I’ve been told a few times when someone’s dog approaches me friendly that “they don’t normally do that with strangers”. I’m not a dog whisperer but have been called that a few times. It a nice compliment but I don’t assume anything with animals and I don’t push myself on the shy or grumpy ones. I let them relax at their pace.
