I am available for drop-ins on week nights but work full time so am unable to do midday drop ins. I have spent time volunteering at an animal shelter before moving to the DC area. It was great to be able to see the change in many of these animals as soon as they saw some love. Often walked and played with many different breeds. I also was part of raising and training a puppy for approximately 2 years. Absolutely loved teaching him how to roll over and play dead with the "bang" command! Although I do not have a pup of my own currently, I frequently dream of having a house in the country with room for several dogs to run. I'm eager to translate my love and attentiveness to animals to help local pet owners provide the best care for their pets while they are unable to be home.
