Pet care experience
I am Elise, and I love dogs. I am 10 years old and my dad and I are working together to dog sit so I can learn how to raise my own money. I will be helping to feed and play with your dog, and take him or her for walks. Also I love reading. This is Dad (Mike). Elise and I are doing this together, so I will be supervising her on walks and to make sure your fur baby is well fed and loved during their stay with us. We both love animals and have thoroughly enjoyed sitting so far! My wife and I both work from home, so even when Elise is at school, someone will be here all the time. Frankly, I welcome the breaks from the computer to take a midday walk. IMPORTANT: we have a cat named Pickles. He's pretty chill and has dealt well with the parade of dogs coming through his kingdom, but if your dog is very playful and/or inquisitive about cats, like chasing or persistent attempts to get him to play (Pickles will tolerate some hello sniffing, but otherwise would prefer to be left alone), it may not be a good match. We can always arrange a meet and greet to find out how they get along. :-)

This was my first time leaving my senior dog overnight with someone I didn’t personally know and I was very nervous about how she would react. It took her a moment but Mike and Elise made her feel right at home and she settled in for her 4 night stay just fine. Mike was great about asking questions to get to know her and I felt confident that she was in good hands.
Mike, Elise, and the whole family took great care of Rogue during her first long stay away from us in a long time. They were communicative, understanding of her quirks, and we are so grateful they gave her as much care as we would at home.

Mike and Elise took such good care of Hermione, I could tell she felt right at home with them and was given lots of attention. Mike also kept me updated with how she was doing and even offered to keep her a little longer while I settled in after my long flight back home. We live in the neighborhood, and it is cute to see how excited Hermione gets when she sees these guys out and about! If you're looking for a sitter for your fur baby, look no further than this family - they will treat your pup like their own!

When our daughter gets home from school, she will be responsible (and supervised) for feeding and walking your pet in the afternoons and evenings. At other times, I (Dad) will be looking after your pet, so they get good interaction, play time and walks.
