Pet care experience
I have had and cared for animals all my adult life. They run the gamut from adopted dogs, street cats, rescues, neighbor animals, and fosters. I was an active foster with Eunoia Rescue before adopting my current (foster fail) dog, Alma. Age ranges I have cared for and had in my life go from 1-elderly. Personalities are also across the board. Protective, anxious, cuddly, playful, all of the above. I pride myself on providing a safe, loving home for your furry friend while you are away.

Mike is one of the very few people I have ever entrusted with watching my fur baby (Tucker). Even as Tucker aged - and his care needs increased during his senior years, Mike always took great care of him. He frequently sent me photos and updates, which also put my mind at ease. Mike loves all animals and is a very reliable and compassionate pet caregiver!

Mike (and his wife, Kerry) were neighbors of ours for several years. We moved recently and miss them dearly! When it comes to care and love for our furry friends, they are absolute angels 👼🏽 They would never hesitate to lend a helping hand with our Labrador, Hampton, and our beloved floofy cat, Jefferey. In addition to being our go to pet sitters, they also take care of all our neighborhood pets and have hosted, helped rehabilitate, and find homes for numerous dogs in need of TLC and kindness. They have and continue to make our world a better place for canines (and felines) and I’m grateful for them in ways that words cannot express. 💗

I have a fenced in backyard and two furry friends to keep your baby company. Alma is a 3-year old Shepard mix and she loves making new friends. Squeaks is a street cat that I have had since 2016. He's wily and not scared of dogs, but it would be great if your pet is not cat-reactive. I typically allow animals on the furniture and in bed, depending on the shedding situation. I am also happy to enforce whatever rules you currently have at home (e.g. sleep in crate, no animals on the couch, etc.). I am also an amateur photographer so don't be surprised if you get some solid glamour shots of your fur baby.

A typical day
My days are flexible and I am happy to walk your dog around the neighborhood or take them to the local dog park to get some exercise. I am also happy to let them out in the backyard for some play time with Alma. Other than that, we will probably just be little lazy and hang out on the couch!

I work from home full-time and will be fully available for your pet while in my care. I am happy to take your buddy on walks and to the local dog park, if that is something you are interested in.
