I am an energetic, responsible, and trustworthy dog walker who loves the outdoors. I've worked various jobs and my superiors have always appreciated my honesty, communication skills, and reliability. I'm a three sport varsity athlete who has coached and worked with kids (ages ranging from 5 to 15). I have also worked in restaurants as a host, bus-boy and bar back. I enjoy interacting with people and will accommodate your specific requirements. I work well with animals and am skilled at providing companionship. I am empathetic and able to understand animals body language and have a great deal of patience. I use my communicative, positive, and enthusiastic nature to make both owners and pets feel comfortable with me. I want to provide the best care for your dog as possible!

Mike has been walking and taking care of Sparky since high school. Sparky loves him and runs to the door when he calls. Mike is very reliable. Always shows up on time and spends a lot of time waking and playing with Sparky. I wish he was still in New York!! I highly recommend Mike without hesitation!
I have known Mike for over 15 years and I strongly recommend him for a Rover dog sitter position. Since I met Mike, he has always loved animals. Growing up, Mike showed nothing but love and affection for my two pet cats when he was with them at my house, and he even helped take care of them by feeding them, taking care of the litterbox, and perhaps most importantly, by giving them the loving attention they always sought from him. Over a decade later, Mike's unmatched love for animals has not wavered. More recently, he helped me take care of my dog, Wolfgang, when visiting me at school. I knew I could trust Mike to walk Wolf, play with him, make sure he had the food and water he needed, and simply love him as if he was his own. That trust makes me certain that any pet owners fortunate enough to work with Mike will feel confident, thankful, and ultimately delighted in having him provide the utmost love and care for their pets.

What is your pets routine (feeding/walking times)? Does your dog need any sort of encouragement to eat? Do you want regular photos and updates while you are away? How can I accommodate your dogs personality (ex. is your dog very active or is your dog older and more sedate)? What should I do in the case of emergency... Contacts? Veterinarian information?
A typical day
I would take your dog on walks in Parks such as Herman Massey Park, Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, the MacDill Park on the Riverwalk and Deputy Kotfila Memorial Dog Park. Also, I would gladly walk your dog anywhere around downtown Tampa.
