Pet care experience
I have been around dogs my whole life. As a kid we had larger dogs whom we helped walk, feed, bathe and love. I now have a dog of my own (Mandy, 12yrs old) and couldn’t imagine a home without a dog. I would love to help care for your dog! I am open to caring for all sizes and ages of dogs. We have watched our neighbors dog when they go on vacations and would love the chance to watch your dog too!

I always know my dog will be happy and well cared for with Mike and Beth. The daily updates and pictures are great and my dog’s exhaustion after his visits tell me he’s having a great time with them.
Beth was great with my pup. She sent photos on a daily basis and made sure he was walked multiple times. My dog is special needs and requires medication in the morning and afternoon which can be a lot of work for some, but not for Beth. I would highly recommend her and I know my pup will be happy to stay with her again!
Layla always loves hanging out with Mike and Beth. They play fetch together and have a nice walk - Layla comes home happy and ready to nap!

For boarding in our home: we take our dog for daily walks at the park across the street and have a fenced-in yard for dogs to run around in. We will follow feeding/medication schedules that your dog is used to. For dog-walking or drop-in care: please let me know your routine for feeding, walks, etc.

I appreciate knowing if your dog has any special needs, medications, separation anxiety, food sensitivities, etc. Is your dog leash-trained? Crate-trained? I’m open to learning about your specific dog’s routine to make them as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
I love to get our dog moving outside in fresh air first thing in the morning. We go for a walk at the park across the street, then she takes her morning nap. The kids help feed her morning snack. In the afternoon, or after dinner, we got for a second walk. We feed our dog after we eat dinner. Then it’s time for bed!

Availability
My husband, Mike, and I work opposite shifts, so one of us are always home. We’re able to go for daily walks at the park, have a fenced in yard, and are open to accommodating different feeding routines.
