Pet care experience
I've had a dog in my life for as long as I can remember. I've fostered dogs in the past and I take animal care extremely serious. A good dog is only as good as its owner, and I take great responsibility to insure my dog is well trained and has the highest quality of life he or she deserves. I work part time as a personal trainer so I have great flexibility throughout my day and week. I live in a nice small home with my wife and our 11 year old dog Bubba on a nice piece of land in in the woods with a decent fenced in yard that has access to the house. I am an extremely active person, and I love to have my dog or other dogs I may be taking care of be just as active. whether it be hiking, running, going to the beach my dog is always with me. I would love to have the opportunity to take care of your dog and give he/she all the fun, love and attention a dog deserves...which is a lot!

Mike will be an excellent dog sitter. He is caring and conscientious and responsible. He took care of our sweet Lab many times. He also is a great pet owner of a high energy and challenging dog. I highly recommend Mike.

I would ask that you tell me about you pet's routines, including feeding and amount of exercise they normally get. I would also like to know how they react to meeting other dogs for the first time. I have a dog myself who gets along with all dogs, so yours must be used to socializing with other dogs. I also have a cat who gets along great with my dog and others, so I will only take dogs that get along with cats.
A typical day
My house is near many trailheads on Mt. Tam. that are great for dog walks/hikes. I drive a truck with a camper shell so driving to fun destinations like more trails or the beach is something I do a lot. Going to the park and playing with the ball is also common. If your dog has a favorite activity please tell me, I am always looking for more things to do.
