I am a responsible and active pet owner who would love to take care of your dog (or dogs) in a safe and loving environment. I currently have 1 beautiful and well-trained German Shepherd who would love to befriend your dog while they are being taken care of in my home! I have a large, fenced backyard for outdoor playtime and if desired will take your dog with us on one or more of my three daily walks.

Nice photo of Winnie, even if she was somewhat anxious being away from me. And considering that Mikayla and Raya are new friends, I think Winnie’s daycare experience went well. I will book again with Mikayla.
Mikayla was wonderful! I cannot recommend her enough as a sitter! I was getting married and needed a sitter to take my pup during the rehearsal dinner and during the reception. The schedule was hectic and irregular, but Mikayla was so flexible and responsive. She sent me photo updates of my pup all throughout as well. She was such a GEM of a sitter and helped make my day so much better knowing that my pup was in good hands! She also had a wonderful dog of her own to keep my dog company. They got to run around and roll around the grass. If you are looking for a sitter in the OC area, she is the best!
Mikayla is the best! Our dog wasn’t peace of cake at all, very protective, it was the first time for our dog without us. We got the reports and pictures every day. Mikayla asked questions when had any concerns about Dingo’s behavior. Mikayla has an amazing huge yard, it helped a lot for our active dog. Also, Mikayla has a great personality! Mikayla is the best ! Our dog Lily has been here multiple times and she always has a great time. Mikayla was able to create a fun environment and lily was a happy tired pup at the end of the day. Highly recommend we will definitely bring Lily back anytime we need someone to look after her.

Your dog will have free reign of the backyard throughout the day, where my German Shepherd will love to show your dog around and play as little or as much as they want to (she is gentle and respectful of other dogs). On days with good weather, they will spend most of the day outside, with breaks inside with me. If you would like me to crate your dog for rests or eating, I am able to do so. For overnight stays, I will crate your dog indoors. I also have two cats who will be in their own room, completely separated from any visiting dogs for everyone's safety. Prior to booking, please note the following: - For daycare and boarding, dropoff is after 6am and pickup is before 8pm. For earlier or later times, a small $5/hour fee will be discussed for your booking.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or preferences so I can prepare ahead of time for their visit. I will do everything I can to make your dog feel safe and loved in my home, and will send daily pictures so you can have peace of mind while away.
A typical day
I take my own dog on three or more walks every day, and your dog will be welcomed along as many times as you'd like! I have lots of different toys and like to spend at least 20-30 minutes each day actively playing with them outside.

I work from home so have plenty of opportunities to give your dog lots of attention while they're here! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to take care of my own dog as well as any visitors. I am often available for next-day service, dependent on if there are other visitors booked for the day.
