I am an Animal Behavior student with three years of professional animal experience. I began my career working with exotic animals in a zoo setting before switching to an animal shelter and working with domestics. I am new to Arizona and now work as a dog trainer. I am an online student and home full-time. I have more than enough time to ensure that your dog receives the best care there is! I have a large home and a fenced-in yard. I also have two dogs of my own who are friendly and enjoy the company. I have worked with dogs in a shelter for several years and am now employed as a dog trainer, so I am familiar and comfortable with all animals.

Mikayla is an awesome choice for a dog sitter! I worked with Mikayla for 2 years at our local animal shelter. When there, I've seen her train dogs and also recognize when a dog needs medical attention. Mikayla is dog savvy and knowledgeable reading dog language!

While I have experience with all sorts of dogs and am comfortable with all, it is super important for me to know any physical disabilities or behavioral issues so I can better serve you and your pet. For instance, is your dog nervous with strangers? Are they reactive to other dogs? Does the sight of someone on a bike make them go crazy? I will do everything I can to accommodate your dog and make sure they have a positive experience with me.
A typical day
I think mental stimulation is just as important as physical stimulation! Not only will dogs in my care get lots of physical exercise, but I also love to encourage activities that get their brains working. I have lots of experience with animal enrichment and using training, puzzles, and natural behaviors to get dogs working!
