Pet care experience
I have had dogs my entire life from big to little. I grew up with divorced parents, so 2 dogs at each house since I was around 8 years old. I have trained 2 of my puppies, both large breed dogs. I have also had experience with senior dogs and understand their needs. I miss my dogs very much while I am away at school, and sadly cannot have one in my student house. I came across rover when looking for dog walking apps and realized that I could not only get my fill of dogs while away at school, but earn money while doing what I love!

Our experience with Mikayla was awesome. She was able to accommodate our last minute request and was amazing with our dogs. Her communication was prompt, she was very kind and sweet and our pups loved her. We will use her again!
I was apprehensive about having someone else walk my 1yo Australian Cattle Dog, as he's a leash puller for the first 10 minites despite our attempts at training, but Mikayla did great!! Oscar enjoyed their walk and will likely enjoy all their walks over the next few weeks.
Mikayla is a natural!! Our puppy is very skiddish but took to Mikayla right away. The girls are beyond excited when they see Mikayla and she knows just how to work with their very different personalities. I absolutely recommend her services.
Mikayla was so good with my dogs...they are very hyper and i have trouble keeping them under control. Within minutes she had them under control and following commands with no problems. I highly recommend her..she's awesome!!

As I am a student living in a rental house, I cannot take in dogs for the day or night and would have to be comfortable to stay in your house. I am very much dedicated to walking and can accommodate to try and fit your schedule.

Let me know if there is any specific route you would like me to walk with your dogs or what their needs are. I understand older dogs would be shorter and less hills etc. While puppies may need an open field and lots of stimulation.
A typical day
I love to let my dogs lead our walks. I typically let them smell whatever they need to, to fill their curiosities. I don’t mind going on slow walks or jogs. Very open to whatever your dog needs!

Availability
I am currently a student with a couple days off and gaps in my schedule. I have Wednesdays and Fridays off as well as Thursday afternoons off. I also have a bit of gaps throughout the week and can offer some weekends, if I am not back home. Feel free to message me availability!
