Hi! My name is Mikayla. I have been a pet owner for many years. I started small with 2 rabbits in 2010 and have kept rabbits ever since. My oldest was 9 before he crossed the rainbow bridge. In 2014, I got a cat with anxiety issues and though it's been a long journey with her, she is finally learning to get along with other animals in our home. We recently welcomed a senior dog into our home and are working to rebuild her self confidence after years of abuse. I have been walking a good friend's dog for a couple of months now and thanks to him, I know how to distract a dog who does not like other dogs as well as ways to calm them down. I take the personality of each animal I come into contact with into consideration when interacting with them.
