I’ve been caring for animals since the age of 10 when my parents got me a german shepherd for my birthday. Since then we have always had animals (dogs and a cat) in our home. Outside of personal pets, I fostered puppies this entire summer (unpaid work) to help out a local group in my area. These puppies lived in my house and relied on me for baths, shots, feeding, restroom breaks, walks, etc. This experience was so rewarding and I am SO excited to do it all again this summer!!! I also dog walked for my moms coworker last summer 2x per day and the dog was part Bernese mountain dog so this gave me more experience with larger breeds.
