Do you have that friend you call on when you go out of town? This is a person you trust enough so you can relax even though your babies are not by your side. I wanna be that person for you. I have been the go-to person that many friends and family members call on when they need a sitter. Plan that trip, stay somewhere overnight or even just go to work without a worry about the care and safety of your pet when you leave. To be honest this is just as much for me as it is for your benefit. If I can go through my day and get some bonding time with a sweet angel in fur then I know my day has not been wasted. Give me a chance and I’ll do my best to have you wanting to come back to me.

MiKayla has now watched my cats for extended periods (about a week +) trips twice. I feel so lucky that I found her for these trips. Her communication is excellent. She gives daily updates and photos. She is respectful of my home- I am embarrassed to say I think she left it in better shape than she found it. Knowing that I have her to take care of my two needy, beloved cats makes me so much more comfortable taking vacation. I got back yesterday and I could tell that my cats were happy- no hiding and also no excessive clinginess. Just- hey mom, you’re back? That’s cool. Thank you, MiKayla!

MiKayla was amazing! She took such good care or our three pets (one dog, two cats) while away for our honeymoon for two weeks. She sent daily updates with photos, made sure everyone was happy and healthy. I can't say what a relief it is to know your furbabies are in good hands while out of the country. Highly reccommend. Came back from a five day trip to find our animals happy and our house perfect! MiKayla communicated regularly and updated us regularly with pictures. Very satisfied.

I am organized, time and detail oriented and a big softie. I pay attention to the details provided and memorization necessary information about your home and pet to assure you and your pet are getting the upmost quality experience. I can be whatever you want me to be with your pet. If they're well trained and older and just "do their thing" I'm more than happy to offer play time and give them attention when they want it. If they're still learning and need to be on a stricter schedule I am disciplined enough to keep the in line with what you want (while also providing love and attention.) Each animal is different, they have different personalities and needs. I intend to get to know your pet and focus on what works best for them and you.

I love to know if there is a routine that suits your pet the best. Even though they'll be missing mom and dad, keeping them to their routine is a great way to minimize this. I love to know about "special treats." Whether a long walk, a specific snack, a certain place to be scratched or anything else the more details I know about your pet the better service I can provide. I also like to know any quirks, so I can see them coming and know what is and isn't normal in your pets behavior. An emergency plan is also something that helps me a lot. We never want to think of the worst, but I like to be prepared and keep your pet as happy and healthy as possible!
A typical day
We will go on long and short walk- and a run if the pet is up for it. I am a fan of parks(if there are any nearby) so we can explore sight smells and grass. If there isn't one nearby I tend to stick to the least busy roads. If they are a cuddler we'll do plenty of that. I also tend to talk out loud to the pet to keep them stimulated. Of course there play time as well to burn off some energy and have a little fun. Knowing which toy is their favorite can go a long way!

I work from home most days a week. I teach music lessons, which allows me to have a flexible schedule. This allows me plenty of time to play with, care for and walk your pet.
