Pet care experience
I have taken dogs of all sizes and breeds since I was 20 years old. I have had dogs my whole life and currently have 8 furbabies in my immediate family. I love taking care of dogs and making sure they feel loved every second of the day. My own furbaby Jethro is a hound/pitbull mix who I adore. He loves other dogs and is always happy to be playmate or nap buddy. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from 8 week old pupies to 14 year old seniors. No dog is too big or too small. I also have experience caring for over 6 dogs at a time, so bring on your bring furry families. As a pet parent, I understand the level of trust needed for someone else to take care of your babies and I would be honored to do that for you.

Mikayla watched our dog Callie countless times when we needed to be away—either scheduled or unscheduled. She always went above and beyond with our dog’s care: administering medicine, plenty of walks and playtime, and above all: provided unlimited cuddles, belly rubs, and loved our baby like we do. Mikayla was always willing to host Callie at her house as well as being flexible and coming to ours. Mikayla was by far the best dog sitter we ever had—we are so sad she moved away and so is Callie!

A typical day
I love to play with dogs to ensure they are receiving the mental stimulation they need. This can mean running around outside, playing fetch, treat puzzles, trick training, or just general play with toys. I will also guve them plenty of love and affection, whatever that means for your pet. I know all dogs are different and like to receive and show affection differently. Please let me know what I can do to provide your pet with the best experience possible.

Availability
I am currently working full-time on Rover. So I have all the time in the world to spend with your furbabies to make sure they get all the care and attention they need. And of course all the love! For overnight stays, I do prefer to be able to take my own furbaby with me. Please keep this in mind when submitting a house sitting request.
