I've worked professionally taking care of animals for several years. My first job was for a local pet-nanny business that I worked at on and off for years. I treat other peoples pets with the same love and care that I would expect given to my own.

Mikayla has a passion for pets. She’s been around dogs and cats her entire life, and truly enjoys spending time with them. She is patient and responsible. She picks up an a let’s personality and responds in kind. She’s also a hard worker—important because although pets are fun, they also require a good deal of work.
Mikayla has been an invaluable pet sitter for our company for several years. She has worked with us doing overnights and visits with every kind of pet and in some very challenging situations. I always knew that when Mikayla was doing the job, I had nothing to worry about. She is extremely professional, responsible, kind, responsive and wonderful with pets AND humans! She's simply the greatest. You couldn't ask for a better pet sitter.
When it comes to dogs, there is one person I trust to take care of mine: Mikayla!!! Mikayla is so incredibly responsible and accessible and has watched my dogs more than any other person—and my pups are better off for it. I always know they’re in great hands when Mikayla stops over to let them out or take them for a walk.

Growing up with pets, especially ones that liked to dart out the door the second they have a chance, I am very safe and cautious when it comes to watching someone else's animals. If the animal has space to run around outside, I first make sure all fences are closed and there is no chance for escape. The pet's safety is my #1 priority when petsitting. When staying in someone else's home, I am very respectful of a persons space and privacy, I only enter the rooms and spaces that are necessary for me to. I also like to give the pet's owners at least one daily update on their furry friend while they are away.

A typical day
I like to discover stimulating routes to walk, preferably local parks and trails. It’s important to me that any dog I am watching is able to exercise as much as they need or want.

I am very available for pet care, I work remotely and set my own schedule. I can work pet visits into every day of my week and am almost always available for overnight stays.
