Hi there! My name is Mikayla. If you’re looking for a reliable, thorough, and trustworthy pet care provider, I would love to care for your pets! I tailor my services to fit the needs of the pet and client. I am a full time Pet Care Provider. I am a certified pet sitter also certified in first aid/CPR. I have worked at a doggy daycare/boarding facilities, at a couple vet hospitals, and for a pet sitting business. They are doing a great job! I just wished to spend more time with them than possible at a large facility. I have been using Rover for 7 years. I can bathe, trim nails, clean ears, walk, pet sit, play with, medicate, wrap bandages on wounds, simply be there for your pets, and care for every need your fur baby may have. Anything to make sure your pets are happy and healthy. I accept exotic animals. I grew up on a farm, and have three precious pets. I have a dog named Maggie Mae, a cat named Freya Lee, and a snake named Alora Dora. I love giving my pets middle names! I’m definitely an animal person. Animals are my whole life and I would love to be a small part in yours. I look forward to hearing from you and learning about your animals. I hope you are having a good day, thanks. I request a meet and greet before the arrangement. With your instructions I will make sure your pets get the specific care they need. At a normal check in visit, I will greet your pets and give them a bunch of love. If they made any mess at all I will clean it up. I am a big believer in leaving things better than you found them. I give the dogs a potty break every 2 hours. I feed them the amount you require at the time you require. If you have treats and toys I will definitely utilize those to keep your puppy stimulated. I enjoy playing with them to keep them active. I do check the dogs or any pet for changes physically and/or behaviorally. I also observe the animals potty to make sure that they are healthy and everything is working the way it should be working. If your animal has any medical needs I will be happy to assist. I do send updates often with pictures.

I so appreciated Mikayla's affectionate approach and her dedication to the well being of my cats while I was away for the holidays. She took care of brood of 7 cats very well! They all were relaxed and happy when I returned (which isn't an easy feat). Her punctuality with visits and reporting visits kept me with peace of mind and allowed me to enjoy my time with friends. Very professional!
Mikayla was wonderful. She was extremely patient & caring. Sage was apprehensive about going on walk with someone she didn’t know.. Mikayla sat on the ground with her and bonded with her until she was comfortable. By day 3 Sage was running to her tail wagging & full of excitement… It didn’t hurt that Mikayla brought Sage’s favorite treat - peanut butter!
If you need someone to watch your dog, Mikayla is definitely the person you are looking for. She has had a passion for taking care of animals since I first knew her in middle school (for reference we are 21 now). She has a dog named Willow who is absolutely adorable and Mikayla takes the best care of her. Not only does she have a passion and good heart for animals, she is also hard working, responsible, and considerate of the needs of the owners and dogs. She will take into account and make sure that the needs of your dog are met.
