Pet care experience
I've worked in vet clinics for 3 years as a Vet Assistant, 2 years at dog daycares. I've dealt with a variety of breeds and temperaments. I have knowledge of most prescription medications and how to administer (like Vetsulin and Benazepril). I know basic first aid for dogs and cats (treating cuts/punctures, basic CPR- chest compressions). I am great with senior dogs; they need extra patience and love! I treat all dogs and cats as if they were my own. Every fur baby deserves love ❤

This was the second time our pups stayed with Mikayla. They were thrilled to see her again! She is great, flexible, and communicates very well. Our dogs love her 🙂
Mikayla was great! She took great care of our two pups. One of them takes a little while to warm up to other people and much longer to warm up to other dogs, but he instantly took to Mikayla and her dog. She sent many photos while they were there, and it was apparent they had a good time!
Mikayla is the best! We left our doggo, Zeus, in Makayla's care for one week and I truly believe she treated him like her own the entire time! Zeus had a wonderful time playing with Makayla's dog and he received lots of cuddles and pets! Makayla sent us many pictures throughout the week and kept us informed on how he was eating and sleeping. Zeus can't wait to go back!
We are very happy with Makayla, she took great care of our little dog, she sent plenty of pictures and updates while we were away. We had peace of mind and didn't have to worry at all. I could tell that she loves animals.

The place I live provides plenty of grass and open space to walk and play with dogs. My own pup is very friendly and will keep yours company. Or if need be, I have a way to separate them for more nervous/shy babies.

A typical day
There are plenty of places to walk around my neighborhood. It'll allow your pup to explore the different scents and to enjoy the outdoors. We'll take trips to local parks and the occasional trip through Starbucks for a pup cup! Play time is any time throughout the day!

Availability
I am enrolled part time at OSU, and I work part time as a delivery driver. My job allows me freedom to check on my own dog between delivering so I will be able to make sure that your family member is comfortable and taken care of in my home!
