🐾 Hello! I am an animal lover and would love to help care for your pets while you are away! I work from home with a very flexible schedule and am available during the week as well as weekends. I work to modify my work schedule when you book with me so that your pets get lots of attention! I make it a point to not be gone more than 1-3 hours so that they are comfortable while you’re away! I love to stay active and be outside and would love for your dog to accompany me if they enjoy long walks! 🐾 🐾 I have many years of experience with my own pets and watching other people’s pets including dogs, cats, horses, goats, and smaller pets like guinea pigs, turtles, and hamsters. I have pet and house sat for numerous family, friends, and clients over the last 15 years and have entered seamlessly into many different pet schedules and routines. I grew up in the Denver area, so I am familiar with many neighborhoods and walking trails that your pets and I can explore 🐾 🐾 I have two of my own dogs that I love and adore. We love to hike, play fetch, go on daily walks, and explore Colorado! My fiancé will be caring for them whenever I am caring for your pets, so your pets will have my undivided attention. 🐾

We have used Mikayla a number of times to watch our house and our 2 pups and have always been more than satisfied. She is a great communicator, has a happy attitude and will go the extra mile to make sure that not only are our dogs getting the love and care they need, but our house is neat and tidy when we return. We have a Shiba Inu (Mr. Stand-offish) and an Aussie (Mr. Love-Hog) and they love her. She takes them for walks, and even when the Shiba is busy napping, she can coax him to come with her to smell the flowers. She will respect your wishes in what you want or need for each little personality. You can be confident that she is honest and doing what you've asked her to do in your absence.
Mikayla has cared for my two dogs on a number of occassions. She is responsible, timely and I always know they will be taken care of. She loves animals and animals love her! I would highly recommend Mikayla as a dog sitter or walker!
Mikayla is the best. She has watched Cooper for both short and long trips. She always comes back tired, happy, full on cuddles and play, and sad to leave. Her dogs are so sweet, playful, and full of energy. Mikayla takes the time to make sure Cooper is taken care of. Cooper is a picky eater / grazer and has daily meds, but I never have to worry about it with Mikayla. 100% recommend.

🐾 My flexible work schedule allows me to do overnight stays, drop ins, or dog walking. My approach is giving gentle and consistent care. I work from home, so my schedule is very open and I am happy to spend as much time as your pets want playing, being outside, walking, or cuddling to make sure they are comfortable and happy. I am committed to arriving promptly and maintaining your pets schedule to make them as comfortable as possible! Spending time with animals brings me so much joy, and I will make sure they are cared for while you are away! When you book with me, I prioritize your pets and make sure not to schedule long meetings or long stretches of time away to make sure I can give your pet my undivided attention. 🐾
