Pet care experience
I’ve pet-sat and cared for for dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I do not discriminate on breeds and will happily take care of any fur babies you have (or ones without fur). While I am not a certified trainer yet, I have experience in dog training and plan to train service dogs in the future. I will happy give light training advice for free with my service, if you request so. Or I will stick to your own personal routine/training method if requested (consistency is key in training).

I think Mikayla is a great sitter. She kept my dog when my husband and I took our anniversary trip to Vegas! We were more than happy with her services while we were gone. Mikayla has a flexible schedule, and she is very well educated about pets. She is also very professional with discussing plans for our dog. Our dog was very happy. We received several photos of our smiling dog which put my mind at ease. I loved that she took my dog to get exercise and kept his eating schedule. Being that Mikayla is such a kind person who loves all animals, it was a no brainer that she be the one to keep our dog. We will definitely be using Mikayla in the future as a dog sitter and I would definitely recommend Mikayla to any and everyone!

I live in an pet friendly apartment with three roommates, but I have my own bedroom and bathroom. A puppy and an older cat stay here, but they stay in their respective rooms and are rarely seen. So if your fur baby does not like other animals, they will be still be safe here. I can send pictures of my apartment and room if requested.

Let me know if your dog is friendly to other dogs. If not, I can easily avoid other dogs at my apartment or on campus with no issue. I would love a schedule if you have one. Feeding, potty time, training, playtime. I will follow it very closely. I can give dogs medication. Also, let me know your dog’s habits so I can prepare my room/apartment ahead of time (trash dumper, jumper, etc.)
A typical day
I live very close to UCA campus and would love to walk your dog around the campus and the nature trail they have. My apartment is pet friendly, though, so they have areas dedicated to walking dogs. That means I can do frequent potty breaks and playtime outside. I don’t have toys here yet, so feel free to send a couple with your pup! (I will return them, I promise.)

Availability
I am a full time student, but my classes are 10 AM-4 PM Mon, and 9 AM - 1PM Tues-Thurs. I am available any time around my classes and fully available on Fridays and weekends.
