Pet care experience
I have a great love for all animals, big and small. I currently have a 1 year old kitten and have cared for friends and family’s big dogs (pitbulls and huskies) for years! I am great with walking all types of dogs as well as caring for cats with all personalities.

Mikala took great care of our dogs(2 pit bulls) while we were gone! She kept us updated with everything and sent us several pictures of them each visit!
Mikala is amazing! My roommate and I were hesitant with having someone from rover watch our cat because we didn’t have that great of an experience the last time we used them, but we were out of time and in a pinch with finding someone to watch her so we decided to give it one more try. Mikala did an amazing job! She sent us pictures each time she visited with our sweet cat and gave her all the attention she needed. She checked her water for us and played with her each visit. She also checked her litter box to make sure it was clean. She really made us feel much better about leaving our cat at home for three weeks and definitely gave us a better impression with using rover. I highly recommend her! She’s awesome!
Mikala is the best! Quick to respond and super easy to work with. My dog loves the walks with her.

I have lots of experience with dog care in and out of people’s homes. I will take them out for walks twice per day and to relieve themselves every 2 hours! My apartment is fairly small, but I have my very social kitten living with me and cat toys galore.

I would like to know the dog’s energy level, as well as it’s triggers and what to do to avoid adverse reactions to possible noises, stress, etc. It is also important to know if the dog is neutered/spayed and if it requires a gentle lead or certain harness for walking.
A typical day
I love to go on long walks (and jogs, if the dog is very active and likes to run as well); I take my friends’ dogs on walks of at least 1 mile at a time, up to 5 miles if the dog is very high energy. I have a safe walking/running route on side roads all with sidewalks. I also enjoy going to local dog parks and bring water and toys for the dogs to enjoy.

Availability
I currently a senior at the University of Oklahoma, and have classes during the morning/afternoon throughout the week. I am free at all times during the weekends and weeknights for petsitting or dog walking!
