Pet care experience
I have a passion caring for animals! I’ve owned pets all my life, from dogs, cats, snakes, rabbits, you name it. I have experience with all different ages, sizes, and disabilities in dogs as well as cats. I know how to administer oral medication if needed! Caring for animals isn’t a job or way to make money for me, i have a passion caring for animals and find peace when surrounded by them. I have a history of depression & being around animals brings me a sense of comfort and safety. I always say they help me more than I help them! I am also currently attending Animal Behavior College and perusing my veterinary assistance certification so i can truly do what i love as a career. Expected to be certified by July of 2022.

So amazing!!! Mikaila did such an incredible job with my dog, Rudy. She was easy to communicate with and obviously really cares about the animals she is watching. I hope she can watch him again!
Mikaila was fantastic! Quick to reply to messages and overall very responsive. She sent great daily updates with photos/videos of our pup, and she was very well cared for while we were away. Would highly recommend!
So glad Mikaela was available to dog sit for me! Got a few pictures of my pup. She had had an upset stomach and not her usual self that day so I was a little worried but seems to all have gone well. When I picked her up Mikaela gave me a run down of how she had been pretty anxious which was consistent with her strange behavior earlier In the day. My only concern was that when I picked her up my dog and her things smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, I had to bathe her when I got home.
Mikaila is really great sitter, she took care of my 5 months puppy really great, she keeps updating me with details and pictures whole time. I would really recommend her and also will book her again in future as well.

I love being outdoors and have a large fenced in yard with plenty of room for your pet to run free! I live near two dog parks that I occasionally like to take dogs to as well. I live in a single family home with no small children present. Your pet will be downstairs with me and no other dogs are present unless I have a double booking in which case I’ll let you know. I do have two female cats but they are very friendly towards everyone and everything! I can also keep them in another part of the house if that raises an issue! I can provide hourly bathroom breaks and photos to keep you updated as often as you would like!

A typical day
I like to take walks to the 2 local dog parks near me when the weathers nice. If its colder out I’ll spend a few hours in the backyard letting the dogs run free. I do have a few toys for your dogs to play with! I adapt to your pets personality! If you’re dog is active, I’ll spend the day outside. If your pet prefers to relax then I’ll spend the day cuddled up. Wherever the day takes us! :)
