Pet care experience
I’ve been lucky to have a significant amount of experience with pets. I know most people love animals, but personally animals are my favorite part about life. I have my own dog that I actually adopted from a client on here, as well as a Leopard Gecko, and a Holland Lop Rabbit. I’ve taken several dog training courses, done extensive research on breeds and behaviors, and I worked at a pet store for 2 years. I have experience with not only dogs but a lot of animals. I’m pretty much comfortable with all animals, not just dogs.

Mikaila always goes above and beyond! She knew my apartment complex had a fire drill that would frighten my puppy, so she accommodated me with timing to ensure my pup would avoid all the noise.
Super sweet and obviously loves dogs! Was able to start right away when I get my new rescue and is very flexible to schedule with. My new puppy loves her and enjoys hanging out and going on nice long walks!

I live in an apartment so unfortunately, I can’t board pets. However I have house sat and pet set multiple occasions, and I know it’s difficult leaving your home. I handle all of my house/pet sitting jobs with respect and trustworthiness. I’m very good with following clear instructions, and will not do anything the owner is uncomfortable with or hasn’t approved.

Please let me know if your pet has any health conditions. Your dogs health and happiness is my biggest concern. Knowing temperament would be helpful, so I know how to act when introducing myself to your pet. You know your pet best, so anything you think is relevant, would be helpful to know. (Ex: triggers for anxiety, favorite activities, attitude around passing dogs, etc.) I prefer you’re overly detailed, with every little thing you think is important to know. I definitely thrive when I have clear instructions.
A typical day
I love letting dogs take a little of the initiative on our outings, they’re curious and they often have routines they like to follow. I want them to feel stimulated and excited, rather than feel like they’re being dragged around by a stranger with a rope. I live near lots of walking paths, parks, dog parks, and nature. There’s so many dog friendly areas that I’d love to adventure with your pet. I’m also happy if the owner has a set route in mind.

Availability
I’m currently a graphic design student. I work on my own pace, remote learning, so luckily my schedule is completely up to me. My schedule will be almost be completely flexible and open to take care of your pets. I work on a first come first serve basis, so as long as I’m not already booked I should be completely open.
