Pet care experience
I’m a huge animal lover and love all animals big and small! I’ve been a lifelong pet owner and am missing my family dog back home as I recently moved to Colorado for work. For over ten years, I’ve been caring for other people’s pets, always making sure their pets are treated with lots of love. I have worked with animals of all ages from puppies to older animals, including those using doggy diapers. I have also worked with animals with different behavioral problems or those that have medications. I love all animals and also have experience with cats, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I am happy to keep your animal with whatever routine they have to make them as comfortable as possible. I love taking dogs for walks or hikes if that’s something that your pup is interested in too! I’ll be sure to treated your special pets with lots of love when you’re away! :)

Mikaela was great. Very attentive to our little guy. Communicated well before and throughout the whole process, so we knew that our Rudy was in great care. Couldn’t recommend her more highly!
Mikaela was wonderful! We left a bit of challenging group and it looks like my 2 fur babies had a great time. She took our high energy puppy for walks everyday and she gave us great picture updates. I would use her again in a heartbeat!
Mikaela was so great! I’m usually pretty anxious about leaving my dogs for any extended period of time, but I knew Mikaela was gonna be great from the moment I met her! I left my dogs with her for the weekend and she sent me text and pictures the whole weekend which gave me great peace of mind, plus my dogs absolutely loved her. I’d book her to watch my dogs again anytime.
Mikaela took amazing care of our dogs! She went the extra mile to clean up after one of them had tummy trouble and she kept me up-to-date with how he was doing. I was able to enjoy my trip knowing that my pup was in good hands we would definitely have Mikaela look after our loved ones again!

A typical day

I also love to go for walks and hikes and have a dog-friendly car if that’s something you’re comfortable with so would take your dog for lots of adventures! I’m also going to give your pets lots of attention at your home and can read there or work on other things to keep them company, after lots of fetch or other fun of course!

Availability
I recently moved to Golden to start a job at NREL. However, I’m missing my family’s dog back home, so am hoping to get my animal fix in through this! My job is very flexible with hours and WFH availability.
