Mikaela is an animal lover pure and simple. She has cared for our cats and Labrador Retrievers many times over the years while were away. Her training in the biological sciences resulted in her working for the Tillamook Creamery in their QA lab as a biochemist. In that role she advocated to local ranchers for the cows that provided the milk to the creamery. At one cow barn, she rescued an abandoned kitten and nursed her back to health - she is now one of Mikaela's kitties. Mikaela has also done pet sitting for friends and helped out with some friend's cats, getting them to Dove Lewis, during the recent wildfire conditions when her friends needed to evacuate their farm in the Molalla area. She cares for and loves all animals.
