Pet care experience
I graduated from Carroll University and majored in animal behavior. I have worked as a vet assistant at a vets office in MKE, canine coach at Dogtopia, wildlife care intern at a rehabilitation center, and at a pet store in high school. I would love to meet your fur babies!!! Ps. I also studied photography so I'll make sure to take really cute pics of your pets! :) I know they are your babies and will treat them as if they are mine. 🥰

Helped us out in a tight spot and sent lots of updates and pictures of our lab while she was watching him. Highly recommend her for overnight stays or other day only service!
Mikaela is great -- reliable, knowledgeable, and obviously an animal lover. Our greyhound Sam was excited to see her on her second visit, so it's clear she has animal fans. She was also super flexible and helpful when we had to book a second visit due to a scheduling snafu, and her availability at short notice was a life-saver and a real plus. Plus, you can't beat having your dog sitter being an animal behavior major! :)
Mikaela is my girlfriend and as long as I’ve known her she’s been passionate about animals. Not only does she have 4 pets at home including 2 cats and 2 dogs but she’s currently attending Carroll University for animal behavior. She’s one of the most hard working people I know around our age and I trust her with anything because I know she’s truly a kind and caring person, regardless of species.
I have known Mikaela for all her life and she has always been an animal lover, especially dogs. She has owned and cared for many dogs, both large and small breeds. She has also worked at a pet store where animal care was her main responsibility, including feeding, cleaning, and giving medication when needed. Any dog would be in great loving hands with Mikaela!

I would love to play with your pets and give them attention and love! I do prefer the pets I watch to either be fenced in or on leash at all times(when outdoors). I will always prioritize the pets safety. After working at a vets office, I know some things to look out for and can keep you updated if I were to notice any alarming behaviors.

Any behavioral issues, if they dislike other animals, dislike children, potty issues, etc. Important to know if I need to avoid other dog walkers outside and to avoid any issues during my visits.
A typical day
A day with your pet would include playing with toys, playing outside, going for a walk, training activities, and snuggle time! I like to make sure the dogs get their energy out to prevent any negative boredom behaviors and to ensure a happy pet. :)

I am currently working part time at a preschool from 8:30-12:30 so I have a lot of free time on my hands. Would love to spend that extra time with animals!!
