Hello! I am Mikaela, I am a single 25 yo and I love to stay busy! I’m currently working in finance, so I’m available to help with your pets needs outside of bank hours. I have a bachelors degree in Marketing but I’ve always had a special place in my heart for all animals. From a very young age, I have loved animals and loved taking care of them. Growing up my family on average had 3 animals at a time, always a couple long haired dachshunds and a cat or two. So me being so interested in their well-being learned how to care for their specific needs. I am also a former athlete so I am very active and if your pet needs to be walked every day, I can get it done. While in high school I completed over 500 hours of job shadowing for my local veterinarian. I love all animals and I do not discriminate against any type of pet or breed. I don’t currently have pets because I like to travel and live in a small apartment so it wouldn’t be fair to them. But I have plenty of love to give to your fur babies & I would LOVE to be able to assist you and your pets while you are away.

Mikaela did a great job house sitting for three of our dogs while we went camping with the fourth. She kept the house organized and the dogs were happy and relaxed when we got home. One of my dogs is incontinent and has to wear a diaper the whole time we’re gone and she did a great job making sure he stayed diapered. We had no worries the whole time we were gone!
Mikaela, did a nice job taking care of the of Bella and Miska. She sent plenty of photos to us. She also did a very nice job keeping the house very clean. ( I have to Huskies and they shed a lot ) Yes I will hire Mikaela again.
I have known Mikaela and her family for 15 years. She is very responsible and would be a great person to watch over you pets. I have a household full of pets and Mikaela is always willing to come and keep them entertained. Her parents have raised her to be very responsible and to work hard to have the things you want. When at a clients home I follow their wishes to a T, I have a client who leaves me 6 pages of notes and I follow their strict schedule for their pup. Most owners don’t have very strict schedules, but I’m like a chameleon and can adapt to any situation.

Feeding schedules, any medications they take, funny/quirky things they do to not be alarmed by, if they like car rides, get nervous in thunderstorms or anything you think would be necessary to know.
A typical day
I enjoy going hiking, to dog parks, playing fetch, tug of war, and cuddling after a long day of playing. What ever you are comfortable with I am willing to accommodate.

Availability
I’m currently working in a bank so I’m there 8am-5:15pm Mondays thru Friday and the occasional Saturday from 8am-12:15pm. I do get a Tuesday or Thursday off during the week when working a Saturday shift. I’m looking to help out on evenings, & can do house sitting if pets are able to be home alone up to 6 hours (I can step out on lunch breaks for potty breaks)
