Pet care experience
I've been the go-to petsitter for friends and family for years. I have owned and cared for cats for my entire life, and I have five years of experience being the primary dog sitter for friends. I have experience with a variety of dog breeds including huskies, golden retrievers, pit bulls, dobermans, and labs.

We were very grateful for Mikaela’s help since we had something come up and needed a dog sitter at the last minute. It was our first time booking her services so we were a little nervous since it was a long trip but she did great! She was super responsive, followed instructions, and took care of everyone while we were gone. We will definitely be contacting her again in the future.
Mikaela has been such an amazing dog sitter for Wrangler. Wrangler is a bit standoffish after being bitten by another dog but absolutely LOVES Mikaela! Mikaela takes great care of him and sends regular updates and pictures. We appreciate Mikaela!

Mikaela has cared for our 4 pets on numerous occasions, and they all love her dearly! We had a 2 year old puppy golden retriever as well as an 11 year old senior golden retriever, each who had their own fair amount of special care and she always went above and beyond to ensure their needs were met as well as always giving them a lot of love and support! Our 2 cats also enjoyed snuggling up to her any chance they got! Our family always felt at ease knowing our beloved fur-babies were in Mikaela's care. I could not recommend her enough, and your pets will thank you for choosing such an amazing caregiver as well!

Please let me know if your dog has any particular quirks! Some dogs I watch will have upset stomachs on occasion that are of no concern, and others have sensitive ears that shouldn't be touched. I'd also need to be familiar with how your dog interacts with other people and other dogs, especially if we were to go on a walk. Dietary preferences, allergies, and house rules (where your pup is allowed to be and where is off limits for them) are also important.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks to get fresh air! Whether it's around the neighborhood or through the woods, I enjoy giving them the opportunity to be outside.

Availability
I currently work a hybrid schedule; I only go into my office two days a week and am able to work from home the remaining time. I am usually done by 3pm and have free time in the late afternoon, evenings, and weekends to spend caring for and loving your fur babies.
