Pet care experience
My first dog came into my life at the age of 6! Even from that age I helped train, walk and feed him. I currently have a poodle with intestinal issues, and take excellent care of him from his medication to his fluffy coat! I also worked part time in a bookstore with a live in cat up until the beginning of the pandemic! My schedule is very flexible right now due to summer. Afternoons work best for me, but I am open to any schedule needed! Your pets will take precedence! I am used to taking care of animals with medical struggles and special diets. Most animals take to me right away, and I am willing and able to put in the time to build up trust with those pets who need a little time warming up to strangers!

Mikaela did a wonderful job with our 10 week old puppy. They stayed at our house for two nights and gave our puppy lots of love. Mikaela is a lover of dogs and a wonderful sitter.
Mikaela was amazing with our pets! She took such good care of cats, dogs and fish. She also painted a beautiful picture of our dog. I would highly recommend her.
Mikaela was amazing! This was our first time leaving our dogs with someone and it couldn't have gone better. Our dogs are a handful, Rookie our oldest has diabetes and requires insulin shots with breakfast and dinner. Mikaela was able to administer insulin for him and made sure he had all his other medications as well. Our other dog Moose has a lot of energy and she kept him occupied. Our dogs loved her. She was also very respectful of our space and overall just wonderful.
Mikaela was amazing with my cat Chandler. She sent tons of photos and even left a watercolor of him! Highly recommend if you have a high maintenance cat like I do.

I need to know what level of energy your dog is, whether they get along with other dogs, and if there are any special kinds of treats your dog needs. My own dog was born with doggy irritable bowel syndrome, and can only eat certain things, so I am used to taking care of such needs! If you are training your dog to behave a certain way while on walks, such as sitting before crossing the street, or walking on a certain side of you, please let me know so that this walk will be consistent with any others!
A typical day
I live right next to a park, so for high energy dogs, I will take them there! Depending on what the dog needs, I am open for around the block walks, heading to the dog park, my own dog's favorite place, or long walks in CV park! Communication is key for me, so I will always discuss where your dog may be when they are with me!
