Pet care experience
I've grown up with a household full of pets all my life so I am very equipped to take care of anyone's furry friends as I now have two furbabies of my own. I know the feeling of having to leave your pet on a long weekend or vacation and want to make sure you know that your pet is in good hands :) I've house sat with pets and have also dropped in to neighbors and friends houses to walk their dogs and check on their cats. Although I am new to rover I am not new to pet care. I volunteer every weekend at my local Pet Smart to care for the animals of forget me not! **I’m also happy to drop in prior to your trip to meet you and your pets.

Mikaela took SUCH great care of our kitties when we were gone for a week. She even somehow managed to get our reclusive girl to come out from hiding which no one can do. We are so grateful for her and all the little extra things she did to make our cat kids comfortable and happy 💕 Hiiiiighly recommend Mikaela!

During my visit I plan on ensuring your pet(s) are taken care of when it comes to refilling food and water bowls, changing the litter, taking your pet for a long walk, making sure there aren't any accidents or spills around the house, and of course play time! I always have my phone on me and will be readily available to communicate if there's anything specific you need me to do or instructions I need to follow.

A typical day
I would love to spend the day with your pup going outside, playing fetch, running around, and going on long walks in the neighborhood or a dog park (if preferred).
